NETGEAR’s
10/100 dual-speed CardBus Ethernet PC Card is a 32-bit, high-performance
adapter that allows any CardBus-equipped computer to connect to an
Ethernet or Fast Ethernet network.
The FA511 supports hot-swapping, allowing you to insert and remove it as
necessary, without having to turn off or reset your PC. With a compact,
dongle-free design, Plug-and-Play simplicity, and PCI-like performance,
the Model FA511 unleashes the power of today's notebook PCs, allowing you
to keep pace with demanding applications and advanced desktop
technologies.
By utilizing internal bus speeds, CardBus can operate up to 5 times faster
than a 100 Mbps PCMCIA Card. In addition, CardBus cards operate at 3.3
Volts, saving power and conserving your PC’s battery life.
